Supporting the propagation, preservation and protection of wildlife in Australia
and the conservation of its habitat

The Tony & Lisette Lewis Foundation was established and funded in 2003 by the late Mr Tony Lewis and his wife Lisette.

We back organisations and people with proven track records, and we stay with them for the long term. Our support takes different forms depending on what's needed: direct land ownership, operational funding, infrastructure investment, or simply being a reliable partner to those who have dedicated their working lives to this. Our geographic reach spans the east coast of Australia, and our involvement ranges from co-owning and managing a 170,000-hectare sanctuary to keeping rescue vans on the road.
At the heart of it all is a commitment to Australian wildlife. Principal activities include the acquisition and administration of wildlife sanctuaries, the primary care and rehabilitation of wildlife, research, and educational programs that build lasting community awareness of wildlife and conservation across Australia. We actively seek out and support others working toward the same goals.
